Just noticed today my spark front LED not emitting light when video recording is on. When stop video recording, the front LED light is ok. Is it normal?

Yes it is normal, the red leds turn off in video mode otherwise you get a red hue on the videos

Agree with the post 2#,  it is very normal.

It's also the best way to identify that the drone is recording when using gesture controls - when the front red LED's turn off after raising your arm you'll know the drone is recording without having to look at your mobile.
