Is anyone else have the same experience?

I am using an Ipad Mini 4 with IOS 11.01 and do not have that problem. I also did not have the problem when I first updated to IOS 11.  Do you have the same problem when screen recording is not running?

Did You try screen recording? And if yes, how was it with DJI GO? When not recording, the app is a lot better, but I did not try extensively as I put 11.01 recently and had only 2 short flights.

I have not tried screen recording but will try it next time I am out flying. If it is better without the screen recording on then it sounds like your Ipad Mini 4 does not have sufficient resources to cope with both. Is there anything else running in the background that you could stop.

No. iPad is only for flying.

You could try turning off the video caching in the DJI Go4 app and just let the AC record to the on board SD card

One thing i noticed is that I used to put the iPad in the controller brackets so the volume buttons  stayed at the botton. But in this configuration the magnet side of the iPad (which we attach the smart cover) was causing interference, and I was experiencing a few lags and freezes on the video feed. Once I inverted this setup (volume buttons on top) the problem stopped.

Volume buttons are on top - cable i use is suitable only for this setup

search for ios screen recording and will find tutorials, but as i mention on iPad mini it "mission impossible"
