I was trying to max out my flight distance per flight the other day. 27,463 feet is not too bad for one flight? 35.7 mph. Anyone do better?

Finally figured out what the "Footprints" means today. I've only flown in the US so far so just 1 footprint for me. I think the "Top Altitude" is kind of funny because it's just where you've flown not actually how high you've flown. Kind of silly really. Maybe that could be total altitude that you've changed over all your flights. Would make more sense.

Great Speed! Nice distance too. When I broke 20,000 with one flight that's when I started pushing the limits to see how much I could get out of one battery.

I got 28,372 feet today on one flight! BOOM! That's 5 1/3 miles. 36 flights similar to that would be 1,000,000 feet. I was thinking of making a "1 Million Feet of Flight in One Day!" video challenge but do you think the Spark or batteries would over heat if I ran them for 36 flights in a row?

Just saw your total flight distance on your profile. 1,000,131! That's meters right? Dang, that's impressive.

53km/h is my top speed, which is 33mp/h for my imperial buddies.

Only slightly above the recommended top speed. At that point I did get the props in the video though.

Did you change batteries to fly your spark? You can cool down your drone before the next flight so that your drone will not be overheated. Thanks for your support.

I've got 5 Spark batteries and so far flying all of them back to back has not caused the drone to overheat. It's getting cooler here in Minnesota so maybe that's helping also.

A bit irritating is a Top Speed of 80.5 km/h, but Top Distance just about 1 km?
That leaves you with an average of 200m Distance for the other 54 ~5-Minutes flights.
What are you doing with your Spark, please?

Did you buy a second charger for all your batteries? DJI or aftermarket? I'm looking for a decent second charger without breaking the bank. What about batteries overheating? Do you wait between flight and charging?

Well I do not fly the spark for fun as that is what my other 20+ drones are for (been flying RC since the 1970's).
So I use it for photography (sometimes video) and really does not require to fly far away, Some panoramas and a 360 and that is it for one battery.

I am using the three bank charger, a 2000 amp battery pack and a 12V to 110V power converter.
As its a smart battery and system I do not wait for batteries to cool down (they will not charge if temperature is too high although the temperature sensor is in between battery cell 1 and 2 I think that with cell 3 being glued to cell 2 it be just fine ). First three go in and when one is done charging the next one goes in. Works great. Can almost fly continuously, got a 200 watt solar panel on the roof of my van and on a sunny day can just keep on flying.
