Hello everyone,

I'm seeking help because at the weekend I upgraded my Mavic to v1.04.0000 and then DJI GO said there is some inconsistency and upgrade. The upgrade failed with the batteries (I have two). Then I tried it with assistant, also failed giving me a 0x020102 error undefined. I tried to refresh my firmware, that failed either at 40%. I tried everything I could the Mavic works I think although I didn't wanted to fly because of the inconsistency warning. I tried to format the sd card, try another, do the upgrade on other PC and other phone. None of them worked.

Please, help me!

Just to verify, does the same error code appear in the two batteries? Could you upload a screenshot of this? I'd like to look into it.

Yes the error is the same with both batteries. Now I'm at work, so I can not try it again and post a screenshot. Sorry .

The inconsistent update starts at 31 percent, goes to 49 then back to 46, again 49, then it jumps to 94 and in time it fails. This is with DJI GO, but with assistant its almost the same. Goes back from 40ish percent then jumps to 94 and then fails.

Thank you for your help!

Thank you for your reply Anthony566, you mean when I plug the phone there? I have not tried it yet, but if you suggest that I should do, I will try!

I also have had a host of issues with recent updates and version consistency checks.  After I thought everything was OK and had several non-event flights, including one this morning, I had a total out-of-control flight and crash...totaled the bird.

Dear Susan and Thor,

I tried to update to the latest v01.04.0000 firmware but it failed via Assistant and DJI GO, but I tried also the v1. 03.1000 (I think) and it's a success! So I would like to ask could you make that firmware accessable for me at all times, because the latest is buggy for me. Thank you for your help!

Could you be more specific of the new firmware issue? I'd like to look into the exact status.

It fails just like before with the same error code, but the previous one installed successfully.

Do you follow the instructions in 17#? Every step is important to follow. If still no helps, please contact the support and send it in for diagnosis: http://www.dji.com/support.

Of course I did, I only could downgrade the firmware with these instructions. I do not want to send it in, because it is obvious now, this drone doesn't like the latest firmware, that's all. It was good with the previous one and I started having problems after the upgrade, there was nothing before. It is simply a bug in the latest firmware which is not fully compatible with my bird. I uploaded the error log every time, I hope DJI engineers could fix this for me. If I wouldn't be able to upgrade to the next firmware I will send it in, but this is nonsense because I only have the drone like 2 months.

I do not think the issue was caused by the firmware directly. In order to get the exact status, I still recommend you to send it in for a fully check as the previous suggestion works on most drones.
