hi all - i have read many other threads where people are having update issues.  same here - in this thread https://forum.dji.com/thread-94938-6-1.html the issue is fixed, but DJI help will not allow me to access the older firmware I need to step back, then upgrade. i tried emailing, and using chat - no help.
can anyone help me?  ive tried everything - many times - over 50 update attempts failed...  it appears all i need is version .0350, and then to press record as the update process goes through..

pls help!

You will not be able to access older firmware. Have you tried to refresh the current firmware through the Assistant 2 Software? Try resetting back to factory settings as well through this software. Let us know if you have any further questions.

i have done all that - did you read the thread i shared?  DJI staff helped countless people acquire older firmware... they trouble shot this issue and found a fix.  why can't you offer me the same help they did?

Could you please provide more details about your upgrade issue? What error message you've got when you failed to upgrade the drone via DJI Assistant 2? A screenshot will be highly appreciated.

error message is 0x020106

my issues are the exact same as this thread - RC can update no problem but AC can not - I only have options for 01 04 0000 and 01 03 1000.. remote can be set to either, but AC is stuck on the factory setting firmware, (.4000).

how can i attach a screenshot?

You would just attach a screen shot like a photo. Go to Reply, Advanced and then attach. You can also send a personal message.

Well received your message in PM. You have been added in, please refer below and try to update again.

a. Upgrade to v 1.3.8.11/ v1.3.8.10/01.03.0813 Beta firmware.
b. Then press the record button on RC or App to make sure that the camera is taking a VIDEO, then upgrade to the latest firmware as the normal process.

I have this same issue. I have tried to update it through DJI Assistant 2 and DJI Go App which are the latest versions right now. How can I address this issue? I have urgent work that should be done as soon as possible, but this forces me to stay back.

Hi yowich, may I know which drone do you refer to? Are you updating the aircraft firmware or the database? Please kindly provide us with the screenshot of error message, we'd like to check, thank you!

Hi there, the Phantom 3 Pro doesn't support to downgrade. If the firmware update fails for several times, we sincerely suggest you start a case and send the unit in for diagnosis: https://www.dji.com/support
