I updated to 1.04.0000 using Assistant 2. When connecting Mavic to the USB port, Assistant confirms that 1.04.0000 is "Current"

However, when I connect DJI Go app (v4.1.12, iOS), it says: "New firmware upgrade is available! Mavic Pro 01.04.0000"

Checking "About" in the app. Seems Controller is on the older 01.03.1000. I thought that Controller also got upgraded over air when AC was upgraded by the Assistant?

It does not update at the same time as the aircraft. It can either be done via DJI Go 4, or the Mavic controller can be updated via DJI Assistant 2 (V1.1.6) via USB cable.

Yes, the RC can not upgrade when you only connect the drone to DJI Assistant 2. Now you need to update your RC's firmware, either using DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2 is working.
