I seen this video on phantompilots also. Didnt want to react there but now its here also...
I dont like this kind of footage. Its obvious that you are disturbing and even chasing the birds. In this time of year they need al their energy to complete their migration. Needles to say that these kind of footage does give people a negative picture of drone users.
Just my 2cents......

I hope the farmer didn't mind you chasing all his Christmas dinners away!

Also, many bird species, including most wild geese are protected by law, you could in trouble for chasing them, especially if they are on a bird reserve.

Yes i know i live here this field is from a farmer and the farmers here 'HATE' geese

NOPE wouldn't do it, wouldn't be prudent


If the farmers have such a problem, let them take care of it...

This reply shows that your attitude is wrong.If you fly drones with that kind of mindset you are one of those who dont care about rules, respect or danger regarding environment, people or property.
People like you are the cause of authorities making strict rules regarding drone flying.

It’s not cool chasing any animal  with a drone, things like that give all drone pilots a bad name.

Harassing wild (or ANY) animals for sport is uncool.  Irrespective of the quality of the footage, I cannot vote in favour, sorry.

I hope with this negative reaction to your post you actually are changing your views in what you did.  No matter how much people hate a creature, using drone footage does not fix it, it only damages the reputation of our hobby.

All my flys are other subjects then flying around animals,didnt maked this video to chase the geese.......

So you decided to torment birds by chasing after them with a noisy drone and you want people to tell you how great a job you did?

OK, well done on your music selection.  The childish corporate kids music sure fits the stupidity of the video very well.

Liking or disliking something is not the base on which to judge the acceptability of some action, we do a lot of damage to our environment using such criteria. Lets all be sensible, discrete and respectful. Now chasing F-16s is another ballgame, any films?

I personally like geese a lot, cooked properly they make an excellent Sunday roast. But I am happy to leave them in peace until its time.

As much as I agree with everyone about flying responsibly, I also think you are being a bit too persnickety about this drone v geese footage.  The pilot did nothing wrong, he was quite a distance from the geese, the geese weren’t in danger, they weren’t being harassed or tortured.  They possibly took flight because a drone flew by.  They could have also taken flight if a truck backfired...  they would have taken flight if a cat ran by.  
Literally Every uav pilot has scared off birds or caused birds to act aggressively.  Should you stop flying all together because you might scare some crows out of a tree?

Ye i didnt want to fly there to chase the geese, you understand it. I see lots of videos were drone pilots scared animals and not because they want........ps sorry for my bad english
