I know this is not the first time someone has asked about this, but I guess you need to post a new thread to maybe get noticed.

Anyway.......... I received my brand new Mavic on Tuesday, I was so jazzed,  until I had to upgrade the firmware.  The RC upgraded no problem, but the Mavic wouldn't upgrade at all.

The current version on the Mavic is v01.03.0400   The only option to upgrade to on the GO4 app is v01.04.0000 and on the DJI Assistant2 is either v01.03.1000 or v01.04.0000.  
Each time I have tried..........it fails with the following error code: 0x020106

Very frustrated....

Also, the charging hub instruction booklet says to upgrade the firmware.  How do you do that?  There is nothing showing on the web page it tells you to go to.........

So far I'm pretty bummed about this product.

Where was it stopping ?

There is not currently a  firmware update for the charging hub, the usb port is to allow future updates

It would try to update and get to any where for 47% to 60% then fail.  The Maciv would re-start once right as it reached the 50% mark , then right after that it would hang at around the 50% mark for awhile then fail.

You'll have to try the beta version of the firmware, DJI Susan would have sent this to you I expect

Hi, the beta is available to your account, please refer to the steps below to upgrade it via the DJI Assistant 2.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2. Upgrade the firmware V1.3.8.10.
3. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest one, it will be working.

The Beta version does not show up in my account.  When I load DJI Assistant2 and link the AC via USB cable to my PC, the only thing it shows are the same two versions.  v01.03.1000 and v 01.04.0000

UPDATE:  I finally got the thing to update to v01.03.1000.   YIPPY  :-D
Got it to fly for a few minutes, very cool.  Now I'm really nervous to upgrade to v01.04.0000.
I might not upgrade for a bit just so I can play with it for awhile.

And no I did not use the Beta version.  I just down graded the RC to the previous version,  (v01.03.1000)  and kept pounding the same version to the AC.  It seemed like every time it failed it would retain a little bit of the update, and it finally took the whole thing.

The beta only assists to update the drone to the latest version. I wonder if you have received it. And you absolutely have the choice to update the firmware or not. Let me know if there are other needs. Thank you.

i think that your wireless maybe signal weak. i think you may try to use ethernet lan first to upgrade rc and ac

Based on that picture shown, he is on a lan connection.
Keep trying.  It will work eventually.   Good luck.

i have tried both PC with LAN cable and surface notebook with WIFI. Both dont have the beta firmwire
