Hi!
This error message comes when I take off. It started after the latest Go app 4.1.12 on my ipad mini 4. After restart it's ok. Am I alone about this?
All updates are the latest on both ipad and drone.

go into your settings and turn off beginner mode

    If you have not somehow had the flight mode reset to "Beginner Mode", then the problem may be that you have to connect to the DJI servers.  Check the beginner mode option first and if it is not enabled, then sign in to DJI with the app.  Signing in to the DJI servers is not a regular requirement.  DJI updates their servers and there are new accountability issues with various governments.

hmmm interesting maybe you need to rest your device or something? can we see a snap shot of your setting?

I have also reinstalled the app

reset your RC to factory and hopefully that helps

This happens when you update the goapp and not the phantom. Just click off on the x, it will fly just fine. Or do like I do and just use Litchi.

I had same message on Spark yesterday, just restarted everything and everything was fine.  I didn't even think about it never mind posting on the forums and still don't feel concerned.  These things are just computers and all interconnecting with other stuff, so some things happen and require a restart.

I'm having the same problem with my P4.  No rhyme or reason.  Just land, reboot everything, and all is hunkee doree.

Mine has it too...but, I can still fly to max altitude and as far as I want even with the error message...

Yes it sometimes pops up. Restart everything and message is gone. I think you even can fly with this message and drone will not stick to the 30 and 50meters. Its looks like that it is a bug which seems to appear after every app update

Is Litchi a direct replacment of the DJI App?

According to your description, it seems to be the misjudgment as the drone is not limited actually. I have transferred to our engineers and hopefully they will fix it in the later update. Appreciate your attention.

It is not going to cause a 'flyaway', and in any event, the vast majority of 'flyaways' are the fault of the operator.

I too have had this problem a couple of times, after once ignoring it my flight was in reality limited to 30/50. A landing and reset/reboot solved the problems, it is however just one of the reasons I use Litchi so often.

Both apps have their advantages and disadvantages, flight preplanning with a map, waypoints, POIs, curved flight paths etc. are easy from home, you don’t need the drone, just the iPad or whatever. The dji app has a more comprehensive set up for the drone flying parameters, use both, change from one to another (NOT IN FLIGHT), they both have a comparable interface.

  

One further feature to note, is that by using “Litchi Vue” you can mirror your controller screen to up to five other devices without cables or the necessity to be online; take the whole family flying.

Do not worry, it will not cause flyaway as the drone is controlled by RC still. And we will fix it soon.
