Well ... checked with my club guys and no reports of faults with their P3's ... I'm getting strange things with my 1.10.09 now ... so decided to update.
Downloaded zip file .... unzipped to my sd card ... put card back into AC and switched on.

18mins later ... green light.

Powered off ...

Powered on RC and Nexus

Powered on AC

Do dah do dah ....

everything fine. Didn't even have to relink as happened to others.

So now I am running (P3P):

FW 1.11.20
Go 3.1.11   (funny that DJI down load page still shows 3.1.10 !)
RC 1.9.2

Now wait weather to be good enough for test.

OMG where have you been - updated to this ages ago - no problems,

For those 'old hands' - they are aware that my P3P was bricked by change of FW. DJI repaired FoC as it was a 'version' fault of hardware.

Like many - I was quite happy with the 1.10.09 that DJI installed on my P3P ... replacing the 1.11.20 I had ...

All was fine till couple days ago when I started to have a lot of LOST SIGNAL  control and video. Most likely due to the weather conditions but enough to make me consider action.

Today I flew with Dual Windsurfer on my P3P Controller .. things were better but still some odd lost signal moments.

So I decided to update to 1.11.20.

But only after checking with pals who have various FW on theirs !!

Very strange disconnections ... lost signal ... things I had not seen before as bad.

Well at this time ... I have listened to Bowie : Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust .... and now on Alice Cooper : Billion Dollar Babies ..... proper vinyl disk albums ............... along with about 2 ltrs of beer !

I will probably end up with Led Zeppelin .....

Constant beeping .... the dreaded beep !!

Youtube has a lot of videos about the 'Beep of Death' .....

All I can say is that you should make sure FW bin file is in the SD card root ... put into AC slot .... switch on AC ... watch the LED on the gimbal till its solid green.

Once that's done. switch all off ... then switch on Controller / AC and display ... plug in display cable and see if you have link to AC ...

Relink if necessary.

Apart from that I have no idea ... sorry.

Just to verify, is the firmware update successful? You can check the current version in DJI GO>General Settings>About. The aircraft firmware and controller firmware should be matched, then you can try to link the RC.
