I just bought my iPhone 8 Plus having used my iPhone 6 for the last 3 years. I have ~30 hours of flight time on my Mavic Pro and have had 0 issues with the Mavic and DJI Go4 App. Low and behold, after getting my iPhone 8 Plus up to date with the latest iOS (11.1.2), I CANNOT get the DJI Go4 App to establish a connection with the Mavic Pro using my iPhone 8 Plus. I've uninstalled, reinstalled the DJI Go4 App, rebooted my iPhone, nothing changing. I've connected the iPhone 8 Plus to the side micro USB and to the USB connection from the bottom of the RC. Very, VERY disappointing to find this out. Probably my fault for not checking. Any idea as to how to fix this, or roll back my iOS to a working version, please let me know. Looks like the suggested route is rolling back to a beta version. Thanks
Sorry to hear this and I have still not updated my phone to 11.1.2 . It is still working with 11..0.3 and have updated to the latest DJI Go 4 App 4.1.18 but there are some things I do not like they did (IMO)
So, if you are happy with the way things are working, leave it alone.
Apple made many changes to iTunes and the iOS. You will need to google it and see if you can roll back your phone. I would start with your backup file from the old phone. turn off find my iPhone and then do a reset. Then restore from your back up
