My Spark had been flying faultlessly for 380km over 65 hours flying time already, does anyone know the routine maintenance schedule for Spark? When should I book for a service?
I assume it’s like any other mechanical product it should be maintenance once a while.
First of all congratulations for your most impressive mileage without problems! To my knowledge there is no scheduled maintenance plan for the Spark. The only moving parts are the engines and the gimbal. They might wear out one day and then need to be replaced. But the Spark is still too new for experiences on after how much flight time that could become necessary. And the batteries naturally have a limited life cycle, but I don't know either how many charging cycles the normal lifespan would be.
Thanks for Montfrooij's quote, you can refer to my answer on the 3#, or I can copy and paste here, it owns the same maintenance. And if there something wrong with the drone, the app will remind you which part is not working properly.
For the client's part, it is not recommended cleaning the drone by water, if there is a dirt on the body, use a tissue or cotton pad for assistance. And avoid impact damage to the drone.
For the battery maintenance, we have a tutorial for your reference, you can also get more safety tips here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8-vxWY64sBOmkQQJ2KWNL-uRBZsP43-r
Happy flying.
Brushless motors don't really wear out. All other parts are solid state, and should last a long long time. Only the batteries will have issues as the chemistry changes with charge cycles.
