Hi guys,
I just got the Mavic last week and tried it in 3 different locations. I love it already, it's such a great feeling.
As I am completely new to this, I'd take any advice from the community.

I'm a Video Maker and used to Sony s-log footage so I'm trying to get friendly with D-log here.
And of course learn how to fly smoothly

So was there any difficulty getting through customs into France? Im travelling with my family this coming Dec 2017, and we will be travelling to Paris via Eurostar from London. Do you know if there would be any issues passing through customs? Thanks. Any help would be great.

I went to Paris CDG twice with the Mavic checked. No problem at customs...

I live here so I haven't been confronted to this problem yet. But I'm certain you won't have any problem with that.
On the other hand, always check this map before flying (red is no fly zone, pale red is 30m, orange is 50m yellow is 100m and the rest is 150m) : https://www.geoportail.gouv.fr

what were your settings? 4k or 2.7k and fps?
I used DLOG +1 0 0 and 2.7k ntsc with 30fps, because I don't have a 4k screen and tv.

Thank you! Just started, looking forward to filming the best out of them. Next goal is to try POI and some other shots I haven't tried yet
