Well the Spark can use all Mavic flight modes, locked away so Spark doesn't get all the sales.

The question is that have you tried the modes ?

I've used a modded apk before.  v4.1.9.  v4.1.10, so far, cannot be modded.  Different decompile method, requiring on-the-fly editing of an internal resource.

But so far, all the modes seem to work as expected.  Didn't have more than an hour to play around with them, as I didn't have enough battery.  But just because you enabled them, doesn't mean they are 100% safe to use on the Spark.  They were designed for the Mavic.

Yeah I expect that some stuff is left out because of differentiation between Spark and Mavic. Also looking at a market that DJI expects people to buy the Spark they might be more likely to crash it.

The one im running is 4.1.9 so that is supported.

Yes, BUT don't talk too much about that here.  And obviously no links or how-to's.  But yeah, I might give those modes a go again this weekend.  As long as the weather holds up.

Yep kiss any warranty away if you use this.

Actually warranty may be an issue if any third party apps or software is involved. Please be careful on this point.

Obviously a marketing choice. It's proof that from a technological standpoint, Spark can support these modes.

I think it's a poor choice though. Anyone who does some research will reach the same conclusion. The only result it achieves is that people are pushed to using 3rd party apps, or... the... call it "unofficial" Go4 itself.
