I've tried it on two macs. Installed the most recent download, installed the Horndis extension, restarted. Double clicking the Assistant icon makes the open-app animation and then … nothing. It just crashes instantly.

Anyone else getting this?

Is there another way to install firmware on a Phantom 4.

Have you tried to upgrade the firmware via DJI GO 4 APP?  Here is a video below for your reference?
