That would be excellent, then we'll just need to  wait (patiently ;-)) for 6 months for the product to actually ship, then maybe another 6 months for software to support it, followed by maybe a further 12 months for bug free firmware.

Given they appear to be struggling to adequately support their existing product range, you'd be brave to invest in new DJI products.

Unfortunately I won't be able to buy (at least not without having to sign divorce papers   )

X7? Highly unlikely. It is in the domain of Hollywood big budget. It is the task for Matrice and MG1. But again, I only care when DJI fix the transmission issues, FW update issues and customer service issues.

they didnt team up with hasselblad for nothing !

You may be right. DJI need their knowledge to fix their Osmo pro which still cannot do a lot of Osmo features like facebook live, time lapse, panorama. When video files are split to 4GB files, loss frames still happen.

Hahahahaha, that is another way to look at it.
As I am a pure hobbyist, this will be way out of my league.
Although I have bought a FF DSLR a couple of years ago and since that have only been shoot high quality primes.
Still it is not a pro DSLR and my videocamera is also some way from broadcast quality so I will skip this one probably also (too expensive).

Looks like a special carbon fiber lens barrel.  Will this be their own special lens line which might make it too expensive if they repackage another makers lenses into a carbon fiber design.

Being a wider 35mm, it should gain a few megapixels over the MFT sensor of the X5S that crops off much of the top of the 20MP sensor for wide screen.  Might gain 8-10MP by wider design over X5S for video, not so much gain for stills though from 20 to 24MP.

Still, I cannot use it as I need a flash sync for aerial Still images so it's "Not a camera for me."  grrrrr!!!!

Judging by some recently “leaked” trailers I think as well as the x7 camera there will also be some kind of “osmo” handle for the inspire 2 camera announced...

Now, I'm disappointed!!

I was hoping for a Zoom camera for the Inspire 2. The Z3 was great on the I1 and there is no suitable zoom for the X5S.

Sorry that they are all prime lens.
X5S only supports 2 zoom lens officially: Panasonic Lumix 14-42mm/3.5-5.6 HD and Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm/4.0-5.6. We apologize if they cannot meet your needs.

Which trailers hinted at this? I'm very keen to invest in the x7 if there is an osmo handle system for it. I already have the inspire 2 with the x5s, and am deciding up between the x7 and the ronin 2, but 6k raw sounds very appealing to have as a professional handheld stabilized system, as opposed to very heavy ronin 2, with my 4k camera.

Hopefully we see something which utilizes the DJI Focus and the Crystal Sky too, but in more of a proper handheld package instead of just a handle.

They hinted at a "mount3" system for the x5s a while back, hopefully we see it soon
