I am getting jerky, stuttering motion from my mavic's camera. It is usually most apparent at the edges of frames where the most motion is occurring. These shots were taken with a Polar Pro ND16PL on in DCinelike +1,0,0. I have to run the +1 because DJI's noise reduction turns on and turns the video to mush if its at anything less than +1.

It is most apparent here in the first shot and especially at 1:18-1:30

What is your sampling rate? Can you try recording at a smaller sampling rate?

You are right. This looks awful.
Not the footage itself, that is very beautiful, but the stuttering.
It is present in most of the clip.
Can you also share a unedited file?
Just to check if it is present there.

Are you using Manual focus or AFC as the focus does not look too good.

Disabling the noise reduction shouldn't be causing mushy video, poor choice of color profile and/or exposure, or too high a resolution should be causing it. 1920x1080@24fps is the hghest bitrate per pixel.

I'm not sure what you mean by sampling rate. I shot it at 4k 30fps at 1/60 shutter (give or take on the shutter depending on lighting).

Thank you! and yes, it is very apparent. I am unable to post an unedited file until maybe tomorrow, but it shows up there as well.

This is what I meant by the mushy footage:

Yeah, hope you get it sorted out.

I tested again with a better memory card with a faster write speed (90mbs) thinking that might fix it since the card I was using only had a write speed of 25mbs. But, no luck - it produced the same results unfortunately.

Guys... I feel like a major idiot. My particular problem turned out to be because my stupid self was placing the 4k 30fps clips on a 24fps timeline without conforming them first. I really wish you could set premiere to auto conform on import to your sequence settings.....

So now the stuttering is disappeared right after that, right? Glad to hear that. I had checked your video on the Dropbox, it would be better if it is the original version from the SD card if something needed to be confirmed. Please keep us updated if you have any other questions, thank you.
