I have the same landing gear problems as seen in many posts.
Not flown many flights yet.
I had to land in the travel box the first time. luckely no damage.
But after 3 flights the gear woudnot function again.
Now its in landing postition and its doing nothing. not lowering to travel and not raising.
What should i do next?

My inspire 2 landing gear is not responding , it is down now.
it gives an aircraft encoder error . restart does not help
it is not going in travel mode.
manual mode on rc does not work

I have exactly the same problem. The landing gear is down, and will not go up or into travel mode.
Any solutions?

When did this happen? Did you try to press the power button of AC for five times?
When you took off or land your inspire 2, did the landing gear went up or down?
Please tell me if there is a error message from your app.
Keep us updated if the problem exists.

We tested on all posibilities, ,take of ,manual auto with , without camera. nothing worked.
We send the Inspire to repair in the Netherlands, lets's see how it is comming back.
And the problem was.

It seems my suggestions to you doesn't work, no worries, local repair team will take good care of it for you.Hope everything goes smoothly.

I am having the same issue. Gear went up and wouldn't come down. Had to hand catch it. Manually lowered gear and still no response. App shows gear is raising and lowering but still nothing. I tried the auto land/atti fix in another forum last time and it worked. This time nothing......

In this case, I would recommend you contact our support and send your drone back for repair.

I will contact support today. The X5S camera has already been replaced due to line issues. My issue is that I use it almost every day for work. I would like to hope it's a firmware update before sending it in and not having it for a lengthy period of time. Are any updates in the pipeline I could try first?

Here is the how the landing gear works:
The motor (servo motor) starts and gear sets move. The screw lever rotates and the base raises or lowers. Then the shaft hole structure controls the main arm and secondary arm to raise or lower.

If the landing gear fails to go up and down, it may get stuck and damaged, it has nothing to do with the firmware, please send in at your most convenience.
If you need any assistance during repair process, please keep us posted. We will do our best to assist.

Got it back from repair, middle frame replaced.
have not tested it yet.

I have seen prices new from 165 to 345 dollars.

it was under warranty.
