It used to be square, but now looks like this on iOS 11.0.3, .700 firmware and Go4 4.0.8. Anyone else noticed this irregular focus square of late? Everything is working as it should I might add.

Try to upgrade the APP, mine is fine with DJI GO 4 4.1.12 and the latest firmware of the drone.

Looks like a screen resolution problem on your device.

DON'T UPGRADE... It is raining today and I will try on mine tomorrow and let you know.

Yes, not interested in upgrading, already downgraded from that horrible 1000! The phone is a iPhone 7 so not exactly lacking on display etc. Have also seen on it on a few other screen recording clips, broken in the corners almost? Was fine on iOS 11.0.2. Weird! Might try a reinstall and install of the 4.0.8 ipa file. I really wish Go4... just worked! Sigh...

I assume you have good reasons for sticking with older firmware and app versions, but you really can't complain if stuff breaks when you upgrade your OS. If you really want to stick with the older combination, then you should also stick with the OS that the combination was tested against.

All that said, I'm upgrading to 11.0.3, hoping it will address video connection issues with the latest and greatest, so wish me luck!  ;)

After upgrading to iOS 11.0.3 on Go 4.1.12 and latest firmware on my iPhone 7, focus square looks good to me, fwiw.

Finally the rain stopped. I tried on mine IPHONE6 S+ with the latest IOS update and AC VERSION. 700 and it had the same broken square but this did not affect the autofocus.

Thanks for looking into it Dronist, Ex Machina, I can reliably replicate this issue. Here's what it is, focus square starts off normally, but as soon as I go into camera settings or try and format the card, with the Mavic live and on, the square breaks for the rest of the session! So it's just a bug, happens everytime. Dronist are you also able to replicate? Agree is not effecting the focus nor flight characteristics at all but it's oddly annoying for me!
