A question
Is there a way of lubricating the motors
(one of mine is making a whining noise)
I think they are sealed units
but Thought I would ask the experts here
thanks
The short answer is no. There are two ball bearings inside the motor but they are very difficult to reach. And in doing so, you may wreck the motors. If a bearing is actually whining, then lubrication will not fix it, it needs to be replaced, however you can buy motors as spares from DJI. Changing them is not easy, as you need to have good electonic repair skills.

Could you please post a video about the whining noise for better assistance? Did anything happen before, like hard landing or crash?

You may need to have a technician look at your aircraft. Please contact Customer Service on this. You can start the repair process here: http://www.dji.com/service/repair

While flying few months ago, something went wrong and it went straight down, they replaced alot of things, body, landing gear, a few motors ,
then later they have replaced the gimbal assy

Updated, it is confirmed normal. When suddenly push the sticks or change the attitude of the drone, the sound of the drone might change, it is because of the accelerate and decelerate. No worries. No lubricating oil is needed.
