Occasionally the DJI go app will show it has stopped recordings. It seems to happen when flying aggressively, but Im not sure.

Here is a clip of the last 25 seconds before the fault happens, uploaded from the app. The file on the card stops before the camera goes limp.

That whole thing is a mess, gimbal and major camera problems.  Have you had a crash?

The erratic flight was me sport mode missing around.

No crash, 2 hours of flight total.

Did you upgrade the firmware? Does the gimbal record videos poorly only when you fly fast?

Yes, there were 2 updates if I remember correctly one requiring me plugging my phone into the aircraft which performed updates on all systems it appeared.

No, while using P mode travelling very slowly I noticed later today the gimble started to track off to the right, slowly it turned more and more, even though the craft was facing forwards...then limp, it appeared to recalibrated mid-flight and was fine for the rest of the duration AFAIK. approx 25 minutes.

The flight data reported "no gps" when it happened? possibly some connection I don't understand.

Hi. M Zia. I am facing the same issue since the latest FW upgrade of P4 aircraft & still there is no clue to solve the issue.
In my case it happens while shooting in 4k resolution but does not if in 2.7 k. Also the whole connection get lost. Almost about reboot the whole aircraft. Horizon tilting is become a regular issue no matter how much IMU, Gimball calibration is done.
Any one having any positive solution pls suggest.

Team, the gimbal controller going dead in 4K videoing is fixed in the current beta firmware for the P4 (v...600). That firmware also resolves the "jerkiness" if you're seeing that too. Just PM one of the DJI mods with your DJI account email address, and they'll give you access to it.

As Punchbuggy says, this is a well known problem, this is one of the earlier Threads
