I have been sending some of my images into Drone Mag in the UK for a while now. Super stoked that they mailed me a few weeks back to say they have found a home for one of my shots for this months issue. I was at my local mag store 1st thing yesterday morning to buy the mag -

It depends on where I have been flying. I have loads of really good images on my hard drive but only tend to send images like this one in. It was just the right time of year for this kind of shot. Lucky for me that the field in the image is 2 mins walk from my house. They are very good at replying too and let me know that I was going to have an image published.

The mag is a good one overall. Tends to dwell on rules a little too much but there are some very good articles in most issues. The images sent in don't really follow a monthly theme so if the image fits the bill or catches the eye of the guys in charge - nailed it. I find it's a kind of big boys drone mag as opposed to FPV racing etc - Tried it for a while but much prefer the more relaxing photography route. Thanks guys.

There is a lot to say of top down images. If you took the image I submitted from a normal angle, it would just be a normal image. I think the main draw are the lines in the field and obviously the vehicles. I took a few of this scene. The others showed the same but with the vehicles moving away from each other. I sent them 3 shots in total. Going to leave it a month and send some others in. I have a project lined up but need the weather to behave enough for stable shooting.
