Actually this caricature expresses my vision about some contradictory illusions regarding Spark. This is a fictional example of a very ordinary story: Average user, not very addicted to the hobby, takes Spark with the intention of having fun. He saw the nice presentation and has the impression that it is “simple to control” and also “Smart, reliable, and incredibly intuitive”. At a given moment he faces some of its widespread issues and appears in the forum somewhat disappointed. Here, as a general rule, he is suggested that the problem is due to his failure because of lack of knowledge and skills. The user gets the impression that he needs deep encyclopedic knowledge and exceptional skills in order to predict, prevent and handle every possible “bug”, which in fact is the next illusion. The Spark’s issues are somewhat underestimated and not only in my opinion are caused by not well designed and tested hardware and software - very sensitive and prone to errors. How the average inexperienced user, to which the Spark's ad is targeted, is expected to deal with common situation where he sees cascading appearing error messages while watching his bird flies away and he must fly manually, which is explained nowhere in the manual, by the way. Tell me that this is not contradictory. Then the story continues with the next even bigger problem. User falls into the hands of DJI “support” and the hard time begins...
