Since spark footage is always shot 1080 p 30 fps , and i mix editting with phantom 4 pro ,2.7 k , go pro footage 2.7 k and sony 1080 p , 25fps footage with apple final cut pro , i find the spark parts are always stuttering as its shot 30fps. this footage is really unusable and i regrett i have bought the spark as backup for my phantom 4 pro. I wish i had never bought this.
I read numerous forum posts of people who are begging for dji to release update in which we can shoot stuff in 25fps, but never a response or sollution regarding this.  For the time being the spark stays in the box , or even sell it, untill dji finds a sollution . Really sucks and wasted a lot of footage of my trip to iceland.

Why did you take it with you to Iceland as a back up and record at 25p with the P4P knowing that the Spark has a fixed frame rate of 30p? With all due respect that is more of a case of poor planning than a crap drone.

I believe that all the other devices mentioned above can also record with 30p. That would have solved the issue.

Poor planning maybe. But i was under the impression that final cut pro x will take stuttering away when making final movie. Anyway the issue is , why dji programmed all their other drones with manual settting to 25fps , 60 fps etc etc , except fthe spark. They sell this in europe , so why not program spark also for usage on the european market, so 25fps or 50?. All european sparkowners getting now stuff they cannot use for decent editting. Unless there is a sollution in final cut pro x or otherway

I dont know if record all 30 fps would have solved the problem. Wasnt worth taking the risk.the spark i took with me in order to do some shots quickly , as p4p takes alittle bit more time to get started some places

Thanks for the positive review. If you have higher demand of frame rate, I would recommend you consider buying Mavic or phamton instead.

I have the p4p and i am very happy about it . But regarding the footage of the spark it is just simply not wonderfull to work with . And i am very sorry that some critics upset you and that is not my intension, but as many sparkbuyers already mentionned before , it is maybe time now for your engineers to work on an update for 25fps
