I’m a new drone pilot, Could someone recommend a nice entry level video editing software that would allow me to edit some of my Spark videos?

PC or Mac?
What is your level of experience with computers?

If using IOS then iMovies to start with then final cut pro but depends on what device you are using and if just the Spark you may want to think twice before spending 300 bucks on editing software - iMovies is free and good enough.

Mac, Looking for an user friendly program as I’m not a computer wiz.

Hitfilm also has many YouTube tutorials etc.

If using Mac and iMovie, make sure you use Handbrake (free software) to convert your raw videos to 29.97 FPS CONSTANT  before editing ,  or else there will be and ever so slight "stutter" in you videos.   Good luck!

And Windows suggestions?

Wondershare filmora, the free version ads you a watermark and it's quite cheap to buy for a year, about 40€ and then you also have lots of tutorials so you can learn and improve your editing.

I suggest EDIUS 7.2 if you are Windows user and you have one month free trial with full features. It is a PRO app so if you like it, buy it ! There is trial reseter but you must reset it every month or you will be blocked forever if you do not reset it. It uses quicktime for preview so you must install it first. There are manuals on Youtube how to do stuff.  Hope you love it as I do. Just click "add clip" and drag your video from PVW to timline.

I use Wondershare Video Editor on Windows 7 & 10.  It costs about $70 US, I believe.  Easy to use, does a great job.

CyberLink PowerDirector is ok for me,, got everything what need for start
