Hi AllBeen trying to update my phantom 3 standard for weeks now with no success, to cut a very long story short, When trying to update to the latest firmware, the update process was disturbed (I thought it was finished but it wasn't), then on restart I got the dreaded LOUD beeping, once I let this run it's course and the loud beeping finally stopped, I now get this message (within the hidden files), [size=14.6667px][00512472][07 00][00] device not detected.[size=14.6667px] This happens everytime I try and run the update,

If I'm not mistaken, it's Your device. Like an iOS or Android unit.
My chosen dedicated device is my iPad Air2 Cellular.

I'm not to sure what you mean, sorry quite new to this.
My device has always been iphone SE which has worked fine up until now. When I tried the update and it failed (the first time), it was through the go app. But once that one failed (or I disturbed to end up with loud beeping), I haven't been able to update through the app, it's all been tried through the SD card.
Remote controller on, iphone with go app started and copter on then inserted the SD card, this is the way I have been trying to run the update.

What's the current firmware of the aircraft? You can check it in General Settings>About. Also, please post the file of SD card, I'd like to check.

I tried to go all the way back in firmware releases via debug which looked to be successful but everyone still showing device not detected.
The current version (via settings -> about says unknown and under the 'Select firmware version' it says none.

The device not detected means that some module of the aircraft were not detected during the firmware update. It is suspect as the hardware issue, I would recommend you to send it in for fully diagnosis: http://www.dji.com/support

Do you have any idea what particular module is at fault, surely they all have codes or numbers?
