Why is it that I must scan the drive on the Mavic every time I plug in the USB cable.  It says there is a drive error and I have to scan and repair it to look at the files.   In the Device Manager this is what I see:



Is there anyway to fix this ?  Why is this driver not digitally signed ?

DJI is cheap. they won't spend the money to sign their drivers. What are trying to do? Why are you doing it, Type of software, harware version etc...

1. Connect the Mavic to the PC via USB
2. To down load the data on the SD card.
3. Intel i7 64bit, 24 gigs ram, Windows 10, WD 4TB Storage drive

The digital signature thing has been around a while - DJI seemingly cant be bothered to spend the money to do it.  You need to reboot Windows 10 with advanced options and enable installation of unsigned drivers.  Then that will go away.
You may still get the scan message though - just ignore it.  Nothing happens.

Why don't you use an SD card reader?

I get the same message when I go to update FW.... but for the unloading of the SD cards I use a SD reader....

Ya know, I do use a card reader,  but it would be nice if the thing would just work .....correctly.
