Manufacture date?

This may be a silly question, but is there a way to find out just when our P4's were manufactured?

Yes, It can be done. Somehow with the serial number. I have never tried but others on here can tell you.

If you happen to have Litchi software to fly your drone, there is a complimentary utility and website: https://airdata.com/ which can give you all the data about your equipment and flight logs, maintenance etc, that you could ever want - including the date of manufacture.

The serial number can be used to determine when the drone was produced. I think it helps to understand which hardware does not like the new fw. It might be helpful to narrow the issue.
