1: The issue were the app  has to be restarted in mid air to overcome the issue with max 50 meters.
2: CPU overload

The first problem has been improved in the latest APP.
CPU Overloaded is just a tip when detecting current iOS device CPU is fully occupied during last 10 seconds. No firmware or software issues are related.

DJI never give details on actual bug fixes.
For some reason they believe that actually telling people what they have fixed is bad for business.

This is because the culture is entirely about sales.

All of us existing customers however dream of the day when DJI is open and transparent with work done to resolve problems and release notes that actually tell us something.

Are you sure about those 10 seconds in regards to the CPU warning? I get it as soon as i enter the app more or less. Not always but often See attached pic.

What mobile device are you using?
CPU fully loaded may happen when environment temperature is high, mobile device CPU capability is insufficient (ie: iPad mini2&3).
We suggest to close other programs in the background of your mobile device.

It's an iPad mini 2. And nothing else except GO and GO4 is installed. AND I have to add, that problem DON'T happen in my GO4 app still on 4.0.9 .. .. And also, there were no issues before updating to 3.1.17. So some bad code must have entered that version ..

Be careful I updated  the new app, then low an behold the sign in page was dead can not log into my account I missed a job ton night  because I could not log into my account

I also had the same problem! I almost lost a job because of it. Lucky I found a nearby wifi.

Care to elaborate? DSixty6 says the sign in page was dead, you say you had same issue, but lucky to find wifi, was the page dead because of no wifi or other internet connection?

Hi there
Having just updated the Go4 app (now 4.1.10) to my Samsung Galaxy Tab4, it consistently crashes at the opening splash screen. Have tried power cycling the tab, uninstalling, reinstalling and anything else I can think of. Nothing seems to work.
Using it for a job tomorrow and am now effectively locked out. Is there any way to revert to an older version of Go4?
This is pretty dang urgent...

Since this update i cannot play back the cached video files on a samsung galaxy s8+.  the videos from before this update i am able to view but not since.  tested from withing the editing of the go app, to built in samsung gallery to different video players...so clearly it is a codec issue with the video caching since this update

I try to use differents videos players ... no way.
I just can read video straitgh from the sd card when it's still on the X5 camera.
But the drone must be on and the RC too.
Dear DJI is it a HUGE HUGE HUGE problem!
I can not control my footage whitout keeping the aircraft and the remote on. Saving battery life is so important during reportage.
I try the version 3.1.22 today... same issue.

The only way is to read direct the file on the sd card but it don't alow me to switch off the drone !
I'm on Samsung Tab S2 ( S two ) DJI GO 3 and Inspire Pro
I test on a Iphone SE ... it is ok.
It's just a nightmare to work like this

Hi Mindy,

I have a lot of problem encountering while flying Inspire 2/X5S.

1. CPU overload, I am using Samsung note pro with 1.9 GHz octa-core
2. Battery status not updating, stays on around 90% throughout the flight.
3. DJI go hangs-up that I cannot change some camera parameters/settings thus I was not able to get some stunning shots.
4. I am using Inspire 2 for mapping. Cannot download the flight plan on Waypoint mode. (This waypoint are generated using pix4d Capture. (Dont tell me it is because of Pix4D Capture, I have experienced some flight(about 5 %) that downloads the waypoint.
5. When waypoint are successfully loaded. Drone position on the map view is late between (30-120 seconds), meaning on the map the I2 is about 500 meters away from me but in reality, it is already just over my head.

Terrible since update, app restarts every minute or less. Major issues since updating in Sunday. Had flown it for three hours per day for the past two weeks without issues. Please put out a fox or give an option to roll back to previous version of app.

And I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2 tab. Worked perfectly for past two weeks. Also have a Sony Xperia Z4 tab which will not work with the app at all.
