P3 is a 4S lipo.  The P2 uses a 3S lipo.

Well good for them, I do not own anything apple.  And until the P3 software is as good if not better than P2+ V3, I will not upgrade.  On the P3 they removed some features. (waypoints ect..)  And jury is still out on RTH gets recalibrated to your GPS unit for using on boats ect..
