To be honest i bought my DJI standard 3 over 1 year ago.
I took a photo of my house but then i put back into its bag and never used much.
Lately i have used it quite a bit, we are planning on building a bike track in the town i live in so ive been out taking ariel shots of possible locations.
I have noticed that the flight mode switch is not working.
Can anyone please advise if there is an update i need to perform or is the controller broken?

Check to make sure you have the multiple flight modes setting enabled in the DJI Go app.  Or whatever they're calling that setting these days.

did you use the S1 any time yet? and what settings do you have in the Go app?

What is the current flight mode? Make sure the Beginner Mode is disabled, then try it again.

these switches don't just break. if you didn't leave them in the middle position or damaged them in any other way, the hardware should be fine.
