Would some kind soul give me a few quick steps on how to get the forum to stop notifying me every time I visit - regarding instructions on how to make my first post?  It was getting really old about 3 months ago, now it's just annoying.

Maybe it’s for new guys who don’t know just like the rest of us when we came here first. Are you finding it difficult to press the close button.

Well it's not helping much, because whenever someone new comes here with a problem, they invariably resurrect a 2+ year old thread and start asking their question there.  Sometimes the question has nothing to do with the original thread.

I understand that it may be the case that lvl.1 users cannot start threads.  That would make little sense, because I'm guessing most people come here because they have a problem or question.  Also it would make little sense to have a nag reminder on how to start a thread when you can't even do so.

I'm all for helping new folks get their first few post going, but after that, there is no need for it.  Additionally, in the technological age in which we live, forward moving folks generally tend to lean towards making the technology work for us, not the other way around.

Logic would say that there is a place in some kind of user control panel where one could go to disable such a useless message, but DJI doesn't always follow logical paths.
