I just received my 5.5 " Crystalsky.

• I first completely charged the battery
• I successfully connected to my WiFi network
• I then successfully selected my country and time zone (Canada, Eastern time)
• I then connected to DJI with my user name and password and got the confirmation that the device was successfully registered
• I then was prompted to update the firmware.
• Firmware downloaded 100% and I hit "update"
  

That has now been just over an hour. Only thing I see is the DJI logo that slowly flashes on the screen.

Is it normal that the FW update takes this long to install?

Figured it out.
Took a deep breath and just powered off the unit.
When powering up again it started normally with the mention "firmware update completed".

Did a tour of the settings, set my preferences and had a first short flight with my Mavic - all is OK.

Nice to know the problem got sorted out, please keep us posted if you have any further problem.

That said, it would be nice to have a progress bar when updating FW on the Crystalsky and a confirmation when it is done.

Double checked all my settings (after 200+ Mavic flights with an iOS device) and did a couple of more involved flights with it - love it!
