...and the experience was great!  I try to fly as far away in a park as I can to avoid annoying people.  Today, when flying battery #2 I went down a dirt road to a fishing spot in a State Park.  Just as I was getting set up, another truck pulls in.  We made some casual conversation and he was only positive about the drone, and jokingly asked me to spot some deer for him.
After I was done, I saw my new friend as I was pulling out.  He waved, crossbow in hand.  It just reminded me, I'm glad we had a positive interaction.

Agreed!  In FL, you can't takeoff or land in a state park.  It's kind of gray if you take off outside the park and fly over, but I'm not willing to take that risk.

Any positive time spent between drone owners and non drone owners about the hobby is always a plus nowadays. Glad to hear about it.

Funny all my interactions have been positive, never had a negative one. One guy even commented how jealous he was of me... It seems the only negative is from the airline pilots, but then again in Canada their being reprimanded for falling asleep while in flight.. At least I haven't done that yet lol
