0800hrs UK time. Dropped my Daughter off at school and had a sneaky fly before Friday conference call at home at 0900.

Even better seen as I was editing while talking to the guys......Forgot to put the ND8 filter on though so had to do a little giggery pokery to bring the light levels down a bit. The sun had just cleared the top of the distant clouds but wouldn't have got the shadows before. Love getting out early in the day.

I liked how the light bounced off the mist in these, thanks for sharing. You do want to ensure, though, you're not flying within fog, mist, and clouds too often, as it can cause water damage over time.

Indeed and well aware of this. The location is very near where I live and burns off so quickly. It sticks to the water and tree level. It's a case of get over the top of it quick to get the shots. Normally, the area I use for take off and landing are free due to the concreted expanse of an ex-pit building. I can see if it's misty or not through my bedroom window before I set off out - which is a bonus.
