I was looking at these new wetsuits for the P4P and discovered something I didn't know. Watch this video about locking in the P4P Battery. Set aside the wetsuit, there seems to be an inherent flaw in some of the locking mechanisms.

I dont see any problem to be honest if you make sure your battery is locked in place as part of your pre flight checklist.
Its no different to making sure your props are also locked in place. I've not heard of a battery falling out midflight that was locked in place correctly.
Every time i fly my drone i religously follow a pre flight checklist and i think you will find that many others do the same.

I have to wonder how many people would fly their high $$$ flying apparatus (drone) in a down pour (rain) that they would have to consider putting a slicker (rain coat) on it?

A solution in search of a problem. There are designed as flying cameras, one or two drops of rain on the lens and your shots are ruined anyway. If it is raining, don't fly, simples. As for his assertion that the 'fell from the sky ' incidents are all related to this battery lock thing is stretching the truth.

It is a pretty firm assertion in his second paragraph: "I want to point out the battery and why so many Phantom 4 Pro users are struggling with drones falling out of the sky"

Oh you were referring to the video, I make no alliance as to whatever he says in the video, just more information to ponder.

I used a stiff bristled brush, It's a job and a half, spray or roller might be a lot easier.

Will cost an extra $200 for the high tech battery securing flexible ring. If you purchase from dji. Lol

I was a bit concerned when I watched the video, so I got up out of my comfy chair, took out my P4P, installed a battery, tried to replicate what was shown on the video, but could not, l pushed in the battery lightly, there was no gap between the AC and battery, could not push it out with my thumbs, so my thoughts are the video is an advertisement, trying to sell something for a problem that doesn't exist, (I am not saying that a battery hasn't come out during flight because I don't know). It just seems strange that the video implies that batteries regularly come out of the P4P, but then again I have only been reading the forum since December 2016
