Hello. I fly my spark for 4th time today and noticed something weird. Normally I use my phone (sadly couldnt afford fly more combo at purchase time) for controlling spark and generally I check channels and try to use least noisy one. 2.4 GHz channels are 1 to 12 as default that I know. At first 2 flights I was seeing those channel range but now I see 149 153 and 3 more channels like that. Whenever I try to go further 20m it says poor channel quality even in no or very few wifi zones. I use a wifi repeater in order to get stronger signal since phone alone isnt enough. I tried both. Phone alone has same with repeater its same. What I need to do ?

You are looking at channels from the 5.8GHz spectrum.
You need to change it back to 2.4 . But I've heard some people say there are problems with chaging manually (I use OTG myself).

Well I have 2.4 ghz option selected and everytime I start spark I push power button 9 sec in order to spark show up. How do I fix it. How its possible my 2.4 ghz devices connect it ?

Zay, can you connect your AC with app and provide a screenshot about this situation? What is the version of your app? Is your drone the latest firmware?

Those are screenshots. I get both at the same time and as default it starts 5ghz too and my low budget gear gets confused, maybe. Maybe an app bug. How can I fix it ?

Enjoy your spark with little range for now and save up for the RC... it is a game changer.

Yeah but in 3rd world countries you pay 3x 4x amount. I would rather having 500 600m range with 10$ adapter than paying 150$. I would pay if I could tho.

Unfortunately those pictures aren't coming through, could you repost them using the "advanced" button and then using the "picture" function? Also, have you already tried "forgetting" and reconnecting to the Spark's WiFi? Is everything up to date firmware wise? Which mobile device and Go app version are you running?

Please provide me the model of device and the version of your app.

Try not to set manually the frequence and allow the Spark/Mobile device to choose the best one to operate.

Thanks for your update. I would forward this situation.

It is confirmed this is normal. In the latest version, channels both in 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz will display on the page, but as you can the current channel stays at channel 2, 2.4GHz, no worries. When you fly, you can choose a channel with less interference to ensure the transmission stability.

Zay, please ensure that you didn't shield your antenna during flight. Do not fly your spark over head. It will have a bad interference on the flight signal. You can also try to open airplane mode to reduce interference.

Come on you know this is not the problem. It has something to do with channels and I cant select them.
