Anyone head of firmware v1.11.30? I found it mentioned on a website as a fix for the software ESC error somepeople are having with v1.11.20. I have been grounded since I updated the firmware due to an esc error and I have not been able to find a solution without sending it in. I have restarted it, reformatted it, reinstalled the firmware and everyting anyone has suggested without success. I have not crashed it and it flew fine before the update so I know it has to be the firmware. I have found a link to v1.11.30 from some guy climing it to be a fix for esc error, but I dont know if it is just a scam or not. Anyone heard of this??

I have found it from a guy on phantom pilots but I haven't downloaded it yet. I am hoping that DJI Susan comes through soon so I know it is legit.

It works! updated the firmware and the engines fired up first time. DM me for the link to the download page.

Hawk, the V.1.11.30 is trying to fix the ESC issue after updating to the latest firmware. I have PMed you the download link, please check and have a try.

Thanks to Bignasty and DJI Susan this latest update has fixed all problems ive had with video live feed. ESC status error and battery error. This phantom 3 pro is more stable now than it has ever been. Many thanks to whoever worked on this 1.11.30 update its transformed this drone back to what it should be an amazing aircraft

DJI Website gives Go 3.1.11 and FW 1.11.20 as latest.

Here we have DJI Moderator helping a member - appreciated - but proving that Customers are not given best ...

IF FW 1.11.30 is out there .. UPDATE your website DJI ...

Second too many reports of updated GO but still nothing online at DJI.

I think the mods do an excellent job.  They always take criticism such as this, and let it roll off their back. Their solutions are much better than some I see on here.

I have no beef with moderators ... if you read what I put - I say APPRECIATED what Moderators do and what they did here..

Your reply supports my comment that a FW is out there but not at this time generally available.

I'm not picking a fight - nor getting at you or the Moderators - heaven knows why DJI leaves them hanging in the breeze so often ...

I realise and having been using computers since the days of Commodore / BBC / Sinclair and through PC Juniors ... Amstrad .... X's through 286 to latest ... I am well aware of Beta Testing ...

In fact I was running Beta FW on my P3S for ages before it became generally available.

But now this 1.11.30 appears to be something else ... and the GO 3.1.12 ... 3.1.13 .... Where are they ? If people are using them - are they BETA or are they actual ? Why not available on DJI Website ?

If they are BETA versions - why has DJI not asked if anyone wishes to become a BETA tester ? I've done that for quite a few Companys ... GPS / Mapping .... Navigation etc.

But no worries A ... I'm sure your pals will be running along soon and have a go at me as well ... no need to be alone....

I also aquired the esc error. Everything was fine when I put my P3P away, now today I wanted to use it and got this error. there has been no crash. I updated both the control and the Phantom. had to re link my unit. Now everything looks good, just no flying. If this firmware is legit, I am willing to give it a shot.

Nigel, do you have the same issue on P3P/P3A? If yes, I'm glad to help you get rid of this issue. As far as I know, only a certain of people get the ESC error after update, and the v.1.11.30 only tries to fix it, that's all.

I have never seen anything like this before. I have many RC radios and Flight Controllers / Stabilisers etc,. and when a fault is highlighted causing an Update - that update is available to all users - irrespective of how many experience the error. Not just a few by PM.

Many posts here and elsewhere comment about GO app 3.1.12 ... 3.1.13 ..... and lately we see FW 1.11.30.

If its to fix a specific issue - does that really make any difference to its availability ? If the update was listed on DJI download site - WITH note to explain its relevance - (this is what most other companys do) - surely that would be better than people having a problem, searching and then if lucky being on this forum to get a PM to download ?
How many owners may have this problem and are not members of this forum ? But they all know of the DJI website.

Sorry if I appear to be 'bad' about this, but I honestly cannot see why it should fall upon your good self to solve an issue that really could have been solved more easily by DJI online download ?

Or does the 1.11.30 have a 'hack fix' that DJI does not wish to have generally applied to a P3 ? Not unknown for a company's software authors to rush out a 'bandaid fix' while solving it properly - witness Microsoft who are masters of the 'Bandaid fix' !

When FW / GO updates are put to market - there is a post on here and other forums advising of it. Surely that would have been a better use of your time and DJI's ?

As to my P3P ? At this time I appear to be flying fine - with no ESC errors. I hope that continues. But judging by some posts I read - some have no problem - then next flight - BHAM - ESC errors.

I agree with you 100% solentlife! What is DJI thinking. If there is a new release, why should any of us have to just hope we run into the right post to find the download. If it is Beta, like you asked, then they should say so, if not and they realize it could be an issue with any of us, why not update the official website with the appropriate downloads and some proper information explaining what it is for. DJI should be better than this. You should not have to be PM-ed by a moderator for a download site that is not available to all the rest of us. Like you mentioned, I appreciate the fact that Susan & Diana are trying to help, but this is not the correct way to be addressing the problem in my opinion.
