Just updated to new app , every time the app launches into the camera it just crashes, this is with auto boot into camera and just normally selecting start flight.

I just updated to the new version and it crashes on my iPhone every time I try to go into the Spark.  This happens if I'm connected via Wifi and it automatically goes into the Start Flight screen or if I'm not connected to the Spark at all and I manually choose "Enter Device".  I've tried killing all open apps.  I've tried rebooting, but still the same behavior on my iPhone 6s with iOS 11.  It seems to be fine on my iPad with the same version of iOS.

I just deleted the app from my phone and re-downloaded it from the app store.  I logged back in, was asked to update the fly-safe database for geo-fencing and now it appears to be working again with no crashes.  I have not flown with it yet though.  Just connected successfully with no crashing.

It would be the screen configuration issue, you might update the version for the tablet's screen. Please try to reinstall the app by scanning the QR code of the official website and see if it works.

Mine worked right from the start. Updated launched and good to fly. Liking how it goes straight to the camera screen.
P.s iPhone 6s+ iOS 10.1.1 ( older firmware for obvious reasons )

Can you try to change the map-view in your flight records? Crash? I have an iPhone 6 –> alwais chrashing app.

With my iPad mini and the old app everything is ok. Worked also fine on the phone with the "old" app...

Yep, but offline maps was never a usable option for you iOS guys
But for us Droids it was working till some time ago.
Which I would consider a reason to change the version for, if it is back on!
Ok, I would wait till people not complaining about chrashes all the time of course!

It crashs to me too. iOS 11.0.3 + last DJI Go 4.1.14.

Just flew all 5 juice boxes, no issues with the new app.

Seems to be working fine for me - I notice that the battery FW version is now listed in the about section and the icon for pano's has changed - probably in readiness for the 360 degree pano when we finally get FW .700...

All read correctly what I have written? I mean the map changing in the recorded flights, not the map during the flight.

I installed GO4 4.1.14 today on iPhone6 iOS10.3.3.  I just flew my Spark twice, each for 13min, using the phone + RC.  No crashes.
But when I'm done with RC and AC off, and viewed my flight records, the app crashed when I tried to switch the map view to Satellite or Hybrid.  The crash is repeatable.

One thing I noticed is that when I was flying the AC and tried to switch to Sports mode, I always got this warning popup box.  Had to tap "Ok" to make it go away.  During the S-mode flight, the popup also came out sporadically. This is very annoying.  I wish there's just one-time acknowledgement.

Ah ha, now I understand.  Mine crashes in this exact scenario as well.  By default mine is showing the "Standard" map.  When I click on Satellite or Hybrid, mine crashes as well.  Happens every times.  My apologies for not understanding previously.

Hi, mine also crashes whenever I tried to switch the map view on the flight Recorder. I deleted and reinstalled the app but the problem still there. Everything was fine before the app update.   iPhone 6 - IOS 11.0.3  - DJI Go 4.1.14

It is amazing how unstable the DJI GO 4 became. Before I was the first to upload to new versions. But since the last three updates, I am little bit afraid of getting crashes on software. It seems DJI is not hard testing enough the updates before releasing them, or rather, letting us be the testers the hard way.

Yes. During flight, switching map-view works.

I was one of the people that initially had problems with the app crashing (as described in post #2) and got it working by deleting and re-installing (as described in post #3).  But I still have the map view problem.

App crashes here to, when viewing flight records and selecting map mode hybrid or satellite.

I'm on iOS 11.0.3, and I have tried reinstalling the app, still crash ...
Also tested on iOS 10.3.3, same crash.

It seems like satellite and hybrid works while viewing map while flying.

That is correct.  

I sent you a PM with a dropbox link to my crash file I exported from iOS.  I'm not familiar with the iTools app you mentioned to install and couldn't find what I thought looked correct via Google, so I just exported it on iOS by going to SETTINGS -> Privacy -> Analytics -> Analytics Data.  I then looked for the DJI Go 4 file that matched the date/time of when I opened DJI Go 4 and crashed it by changing the map view in the Flight Records.

Hopefully this is the file you are looking for.  If not, please send more specific instructions for getting what you want via Windows 10.

Mine is (are) crashing also when trying to change map view in flight records on both my iPhone 7 and my iPad Mini 4.  Both Apple devices are running iOS 11.0.3 with DJI GO $ app 4.1.14

On Iphone I reinstalled it and it works
