Just downloaded assistent 2 latest version plus driver.
When i click on icon , it simply doesnt open.

I have got imac , 10.6.8.
I must say imac is 10 years old

Does someone know whats wrong? Or how to open this?

Aloha fans616,

If Jenee's suggestion does not work, it may well be your old computer.  Most computers are not designed to last longer than five years for hardware and software reasons.  Good Luck!

I have un and reinstalled a few times but doesnt work. Must be old hardware in the mac.
I can do updates via dji go app. Only problem will be vision sensor callibration . I will make a new thread for this

Aloha fans616,

Can you go over to a friend's house and borrow their computer so you can do your updates?  They might like the razzel-dazzel.  Then you could let them help you fly.

Like Cetacean mentioned, if it is possible, please borrow a computer and do the VPS calibration if it needs. Here is the tutorial for your reference:

i will have a look for other computer, but dji ? its very strange that everything else like updates etc can be done via dji app , only not the vision sensors, that was taken out . Than you need pc/laptop , i find this a little bit double , especially went going on vacation or trip and take the drone with you . you need anyway an iphone/ipad or other tablet and than you have to take also with you a laptop or worse pc. Please ask you engineers to put calibration vision sensors again in dji go app

I am in a similar situation, old macBookPro and 10.6.8. (Snow Leopard)
Solution: get a 1 Gb external Firewire disk and load a more recent OS like 10.11 (El Capitan), then when you want to use Assistant restart your iMac from the external disk. (It will be a bit slower , but will work - just don't use it with graphic intensive software like video editors...)
Also make sure to set the correct screen resolution when you want to do sensors calibration. DJI Assistant is a bit picky about screen resolution.
