Hello,

The mavic is in latest firmware, same for version of GO4 app on my iPhone 7 plus, IOS is 11.0.3. I turn on the Mavic, turn on the RC, plug the phone to RC, launch GO4.
When launching the app, I can't connect to the Mavic (like if it was not powered up).

If I do the exact same steps but with an iPhone 7 (not the +) under IOS 11.0.2, I can connect and go fly.

I tried to uninstall/resintall the app and reboot the phone but I still have the same issue : unable to connect to the Mavic.

Anyone has the same issue ???

Same with me..i'm using ipad mini 4 11.03 version and latest dji go firmware..sadly..it can't connect..please help me dji..

Reset and update iOS via iTunes, make sure your are on recovery mode. This how I fixed mine on my iPad mini 4.

I am also having this issue - first unistalled / reinstalled app. Then reset phone. Tried multiple connector cables to make sure that wasn't the issue as well. I can still fly the Mavic with my remote but no matter what I try the app will not connect to my device.

I'm having similar issues. I have an iPhone 7+ running iOS11.1 and since I updated to the iOS11, I CAN connect to my Mavic, I CAN fly with it, but I CAN NOT record and the the app becomes really useless.  


I wonder when DJI is going to fix their app.

Please refer the suggestion of 3# and try to refresh the OS to see whether it helps.

Have you tried what Susan suggested? Please have a try, besides, you can also try the method below.
Deleting the program together with deleting all folders and files associated with DJI via file manager. Then reinstall the APP, see if it works.

Same for me. I tried the steps to fix it but it doesn't fix.

DJI team, can you please provide an update ? Do you have a target date to have a new version of GO4 to fix the issue ?

When I got the mavic I used it with my android pixel XL... Was plagued by app crashes every flight so got an iPad mini 4.. has been rock solid up until the latest iOS 11.3.. patiently awaiting a fix.

When I launch DJI go the app just quits without an error.

I’m afraid I’m seeing the same issue , ever since I updated to iOS 11 ..... I’ve had one issue after another , if I use an old iPhone 6 with iOS 10.3.3 , I can fly without any issues whatsoever

Sorry guys, I am not sure what you all have in common ? this is very puzzling. I installed on my iPhone 7 first (worked great) and then put my backup onto the new iPhone 8 Plus and made sure it was working before installing it on my iPads..

iPhone 8 Plus  no problems at all with the following drones;
Mavic Pro
P4P
Inspire 2

Please try clearing the video cache, warnings from the App first, then removing the Go 4 App and reinstalling it or follow the suggestion on post #3

edit: I am also running the DJI Go App and it is working on 11.0.3 with my Inspire 1

Please note that iOS 11.1 has been reported not to be working with the DJI Go 4 App.... so don't install that one yet.

Finally i can use my ipad mini 4 which downgraded to ios 11.0.3 And i'm using dji go 4.1.15..thanks a lot to RichJ53..

The only way I can get my iPhone 7+ / iPad Pro and  Mavic Pro Platinum to connect is to do th complete opposite of the instructions.
Power all off.   
1.  Launch DJI Go 4
2.  Power on Controller
3.  Power on Mavic Pro Platinum

This is the only sequence that works for me.

Make sure your devices are in "recovery mode" when doing reset/update.

Upgrading to 11.1 solved the issue for me. Now I can connect to my Mavic.
