Visiting Kråkenes Lighthouse this weekend. Special place all the way out on the west coast of Norway. Filming with the Spark and the Osmo.

Had a hard time in the wind?

I noticed two (little) things: (of course all my opinion)
- The timelapses were low in resolution?
- Sometimes you cut while you are moving (like 0:59) where you see the 'old' shot making a turn. I would avoid this and cut a bit sooner.

Other than that very nice flying!

Nice area, but really windy.  I some short periods, the wind isn't too bad, but suddenly it gets worse. So it was hard. Several times the Spark was working hard keeping itself stable. So I didn't dare to fly long or high, though I wish I could circle around and fly out above the sea and film.

Agree, something weird happened to the timelapse. I will check the original footage. Put the timelapse into Adobe Media Encoder as well, maybe I shouldn't.

I also struggle to find out when to use transitions and when not to.

I can imagine. Looks like the wind was blowing from the sea to the shore (if I see correct) so Spark would fly back to you.

In general I try to avoid fade transitions when there is a lot of motion in the shot. (like a pan or something)
And if I have to cut there, just make a hard cut (no fade).
If you play by the rules, you will have to avoid fades almost 100% (you won't see many on TV, just hard cuts), but I tend to like them

A bit windy yes, but beautiful location. A bit scary flying, also need to be aware of sea water particles all over the place!

nice work, I love the Norwegian coastline, I must bring my spark next time I come here
