The idea was to film a cargo trains moving slowly along this winding rail. The rail is located on west shore of Kootenay Lake, BC, Canada, between Nelson and Creston towns. Unfortunately once busy route is about to be abandoned, used sparsely, with unpredictable schedule and mostly at night. No luck with trainspotting ... However, notoriously annoying wildfires provided somehow visually appealing haze and relaxing mood this particular day ...

You're funny! Of course they have everything in control, they know when the train will run. The only problem was that they would not adjust it's schedule accordingly to my expectations ...
