Saturday I was positioning the Spark to take a Picture (near a pole).  My brain stopped working, and instead of using left stick to rotate the craft I used the RIGHT stick and made it hit the pole at about 5m (17 feet) above the ground.

  

  

The spark started to fall (like a rock) but just before smashing into the ground it just recovered stability and regained flight (All within a second split) . Scratched lightly the ground and stopped hovering 50cm above tarmac. No major injuries.

Lucky you.. When I crash, it's usually down. So far have had two crashes, and I've learned to steer clear (well away). Of course the heights I crashed were pretty low, like less than 4 meters, so pretty close to the ground.

After 3 crashes (I'm a slow learner) I've started using the propellor guards anytime I'm not over water.

Lucky lucky.  I've crashed mine twice, once in the house and once into a tree when in circle quickshot mode.  Both were no good, but worst that happened was a broken prop.

Glad your spark is safe. I think you should be more careful and choose a proper place to fly your drone.
