Hi

A friend of mine and I, we are planing a bike tour for some months. We also want to take a drone (probably Mavic) with us. We would like to know if there is the possibilty to charge the batteries from the Mavic via an USB Adapter from the Dynamo ? Has anybody done that?

Thank you!

Best,
Mainau

In theory it is possible if it can deliver more than 12 volts.
But you would have to rectify the current (AC/DC plus rectifiers) and the watts of a common dynamo is very little to mean anything useful.

You'll also need 7 amps to charge a mavic battery

I would not recommend you charge your mavic with bike dynamo since the voltage is not stable.

Hi
thanks for your ideas,

What is about charging a power bank  with the dynamo and afterwards charging the akku with the power bank?
I am not sure about the properties of the power bank? Should it have 11.4V as the akku? Or can I take also two with 6V each?

Ther Mavic akku is :
Capacity        3830 mAh
Voltage        11.4 V
Battery Type        LiPo 3S
Energy        43.6 Wh

Thanks!
