I can get my hands on a DJI refurbised P4A, but the reseller is only allowing testing without registering the drone at DJI. (not sure why, but they have that policy)
Is it possible to fly a drone without it being registered in the DJI GO4 app?

Sorry, I'm not sure which registering do you refer. Generally, the drone needed to be activated when it connected the DJI GO for the first time. Then you can login your DJI account to take off.

I think that is indeed what they mean by 'registering'.

They probably wanted you not to use under your Go app.  That would mean you would have to use his device to test.

They are a online store, so I don't think that is the case. I have asked their support dept. how I can test my product without activating (since I can't fly without it). Waiting for a response.

I did not order it yet, as I am cautious when it comes to these figures.
I did check with their support dept. how I am supposed to test this drone without activating it.

Was just thinking a little more about the R in serial, would the RC serial from the picture in this post be a refurb, do you know?

For some reason i have been unable to look that up in the Serial no. checker, if it is a refurb that would explain i guess.

I have checked the link and it works well at my side. Please check whether you have set the language as Japanese on the right upper corner. Then click Discounts>Refurbished Units>drag down the scroll, you will find it.

The refurbished units will be replaced with refurbished if there is any issue. I do not find any units ended with RR for now, ha ha!

For the flyaway issues,  we will offer the free coupon to purchase the aircraft itself for warranty cases, and certain discount for non-warranty cases so that the RC can be used continuously.
