I reviewed the new manual published today along with the new firmware and I don't see instructions on how you switch between frequencies and channels manually. Perhaps I overlooked them. DJI can you provide some instructions or direct me to where I can find them?
Is it as simple as selecting one of the low numbered channels for 2.4 annd higher numbered for 5.8?
The simple answer is yes. I can’t remember the exact numbers off the top of my head, but if you select between 1 & 12 I think it is then it defaults to the 2.4 ghz band and the higher numbered channels (in the hundreds) are all 5.8 ghz band.

Thanks for your help and reply. I am surprised that it was not covered in any detail in the revised manual that was released today.
If you want to select a channel manually, please firstly enable Custom on the WiFi settings, then select the channel you wanted, 1-12 is for 2.4GHz, 159-165 is for 5.8GHz.

Has anyone else been in very urban areas where the video lags and the connection cuts out frequently? Then you change position a block and the Spark works perfectly. I've been in this situation more than once. Would changing the frequency help this?
