Hello,
Recently I have bought two new batteries for spark and I wanted to test it before flying over water(bit scared if it might be some bad batch). is there any test that I can perform before flying the spark high enough or above water, to confirm that I have received battery in good condition?

Thanks in Advance.

Generally, there will be error message in APP if the battery goes wrong. I would recommend you to keep the drone in the line of sight with low altitude for a certain time to see whether it works well.

Thanks susan, in app I see the voltage reading showing some reading.. all the three where of same values(forgot the value), so when the battery drains will all 3 have still same value.. example: 4.1,4.1,4.1 then 3.9,3.9,3.9

Nope. The voltage might drop but not be the same always. As long as the maximum voltage difference of all cells is less than 0.1V, you can use it normally. No worries.

Well you can spend 15 minutes on it that will tell you if it’s working as it should, what test are you looking to do?

It will also help you learn to fly, we don’t know if there has been a bad batch of batteries only what you read here and nothing about bad batteries has been proven, you have a set of instructions on how to look after your batteries use that and look after them.

In my opinion, the flight simulator is only testing the RC and the flight simulator function in the DJI Go app.
It shall give you a bit of a feelin', what to do on the sticks.
As the drone isn't responding to any of the inputs, we only have to assume that the drone can/would follow the joystick moves, if in real flight.
Never understood, why the drone hasto be on for this, too!
But that's only me, perhaps
And as a stress- / loadtest for the battery, without let the bird fall down, it works

Hello, I just purchased 2 Spark batteries.  Both do not show any GREEN LEDs when the power on button is pushed. Are these bad batteries?
