I fly with an iPad on a MavMount and it is very annoying having to press OK every single time I switch to sport mode as I switch probably 10 times during a 20 minute flight.

I guess you're talking about this annoying box? I've been trying to figure out how to get rid of it but to no avail. Don't even see an option to eliminate it.

That's the one... Does DJI go out of their way to do things to make life more of a pain in the butt? I mean I would even be fine with it just once every "session" at a maximum... Every single time I flip the switch is absolutely ridiculous.. I have 40 hours of flying time.. Probably 30+ hours of sport mode flying.. I think I understand the precautions....
Imagine having to hit OK on something like this every time you went above 45 mph/72 kph in your vehicle...

Truly annoying.....I also fly mostly S-mode so constantly turning it off is a real nuisance....hopefully they'll remove if they get enough complaints.

I think is not so much about understanding the precautions and more about DJI's Risk Management / Liability Policy.

I agree, this annoying warning needs to have a setting to where it could be turned off.

I thought it was only once per session? Pretty sure I flew more than once in Sports mode during a single session and only got the prompt once. Maybe I'm misremembering...

May I know what is your APP version? What is the firmware version of the drone?

I don't see how you can be surprised to hear about this, DJI, since I started an active thread about it 4 days ago Here and supposedly your engineers are already working on it!

Thanks for checking into this Diana. I'm running the latest DJI version App.

I didn't even have the box pop up before when I flipped to S-mode ........wait...I did have an iPhone update, could that have created this issue? or not necessarily.

Running firmware  01.04.0000.

yep, have the same version.

Weird...I don’t get the box when I’m using the goggles.....

Does Go 4.1.16 fix this on iOS?

I can't fly at home as I'm in the DC RFZ, but with Go 4.1.16 I no longer get the Sports mode alerts at all -- now it's possible, I guess, that the alerts only are possible when the AC is actually in the air, so it would be great if anyone else could confirm this.

So by the time I got to fly in the air, a new version of DJI Go 4.1.17 was released for iOS, and that version still has the disruptive prompt every time Sports Mode is entered.

Well, that's annoying.

4.1.17 still has it,
Unbelievably annoying.
Im a huge DJI fan, but this is ridiculous,
Huge fail by DJI.

Lots of complaints and suggested remedies also on the Spark forum.

It's a total nightmare. DJI Go is becoming unstable, laggy and constant pop up warnings.

The sport mode pop up is ok at the start of a session, but it constantly appears each time I go into sport mode, my enjoyment of the Mavic is reducing each time DJI come up with an updated Go, simply becoming to intrusive.

DJI, less is more!

i agree that is it most annoying and i think even unnessesary.

Didn’t use to get this pop up, just one more annoying thing after updates. I especially don’t like the pop up when switching flight modes. I like the new features but wish my Mavic was less restricted as it was when I first received it.

Can't wait for this to be remove.
