I was suggested to try Movie Pro by a fellow forum member and today I made a short comparison between Filmic Pro and Movie Pro with (about) the same settings.
The only difference is that Filmic Pro (with the cinematographer kit) allows for selecting a flat profile.
This makes quite a difference in dynamic range you get out of the small iPhone sensor.



Now I must say I like the Movie Pro app because it has a much better battery usage than Filmic Pro (and is much cheaper) and has a nice interface, but this improved dynamic range I get from the Filmic Pro app is very interesting.
A developer from Filmic Pro told they were working on the battery consumption so I hope it will improve in the future.

Well, it can film of course, just like the default camera app.
But you can't control it via the buttons on the Osmo Mobile handle.
